For the privacy professional in your life, PIAs are a touchy topic. Part accountability mechanism, part necessary evil and (as with all documentation) usually painful. On this page, I’m sharing some of the PIA ‘things’ that I have done or presented on. Feel free to borrow anything on this site, but I’d ask you cite the Government of Ontario, who did some amazing and very progressive investment in developing a lot of these materials. And if you see anything you’re in violent disagreement with, please do treat yourself to the indulgence of your choice to soothe the pain.
